Former football players coached by Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz were on stage as he was formally nominated as the Democratic candidate for vice president. In his acceptance speech, Walz highlighted his work as a teacher and football coach by giving a pep talk as the crowd chanted “Coach Walz.”
