“Love Is Blind: UK” is the latest spin-off of Netflix’s hugely popular “Love Is Blind” dating show. This time, Netflix brought together contestants from the UK and Ireland.
Season one of “Love Is Blind: UK” will be released in three batches. The first four episodes dropped last week and the next five episodes premiere on Netflix on Wednesday.
The final two episodes, where the couples choose to get married or break up, premiere on August 21.
Netflix has now announced, via a press release, that the reunion episode will premiere on August 26 at 4 p.m. ET.
This reunion will be pre-recorded rather than live, like past “Love Is Blind” reunions. “Love Is Blind: UK” presenters Matt and Emma Willis will also host the reunion.
This means fans won’t have to wait long after the finale to get an update on all their favorite couples.
The ‘Love Is Blind: UK’ reunion could address the Sam controversy and give relationship updates
Warning: spoilers ahead for the first four episodes of “Love Is Blind: UK”
There are five couples after the first episodes of “Love Is Blind: UK”:
During the pod stage in the first few episodes, Nicole struggles to pick between Benaiah and Sam, but eventually accepts Sam’s proposal. But after meeting him in episode four, she backs out, saying that something “wasn’t right.”
At the end of the episode, it seems that she is going to apologize to Benaiah and try to make a relationship work.
But in a teaser for future episodes, Sam tells Benaiah that Nicole asked to sleep with him after they first met. It is unclear whether Sam is telling the truth, but there will likely be tension between those three in the reunion.
Sam may also address the backlash toward his dating style. Many fans have criticized him on social media, saying he acted like a “red flag” in the pods.
The reunion will likely update fans on all the relationships and who is still together. Once the full season is out, there may be even more drama to address.
New episodes of “Love Is Blind: UK” premiere on Netflix on Wednesdays.
