Features of the Latest Update
The recently introduced upgrade will optimize Shiba Eternity to run smoother and more efficiently. This suggests that Shiba Eternity now has a faster loading time and more responsive gameplay, enhancing players’ overall experience.
Furthermore, Mazrael emphasized that the upgrade addressed specific issues with how certain cards interact with the game. In particular, the Shiba Eternity team has fixed the issue with the Princess Andromeda card. Additionally, the lagging problem that stems from using stealth fighter cards has also been solved.
The latest improvements have been integrated into the Android and iOS versions of Shiba Eternity. Users can update their apps to explore these exciting features.
Beta Testing for Shiba Eternity P2E Version to Commence Soon
In the meantime, the Shiba Inu ecosystem team is still working on the play-to-earn (P2E) version of Shiba Eternity. The beta testing for the P2E version of the game is expected to commence in the second quarter of this year.
Mazrael and Shiba Inu lead developer Shytoshi Kusama revealed this in different updates. Last month, Mazrael said the P2E version was undergoing intensive testing in-house to enable developers to rectify some bugs that accompanied the version built by AAA game developer PlaySide Studios.
Once the team fixes the bugs, it plans to deploy the P2E version for beta testing. At press time, there is no official date for the release. However, players expect the beta testing to commence this quarter, as disclosed by Kusama.
The non-P2E version of Shiba Eternity was launched in October 2022. Since then, the Shiba Inu community has been running various campaigns to bolster its adoption, including hosting a monthly tournament where top players shared a prize pool of $1,000.
These initiatives paid off massively, as the number of downloads for Shiba Eternity on Google PlayStore alone has surpassed 100,000.
