- Ivanka Trump stepped back from politics when Donald Trump launched his 2024 campaign.
- She returned to life as a socialite, attending star-studded parties and wearing bolder looks.
- She was at the final night of the Republican National Convention but didn’t give a speech.
After serving as a White House advisor during Donald Trump’s presidency, Ivanka Trump announced in 2022 that she was leaving politics behind.
“I love my father very much,” Ivanka Trump said in a statement after skipping her father’s 2024 campaign launch. “This time around, I am choosing to prioritize my children and the private life we are creating as a family. I do not plan to be involved in politics. While I will always love and support my father, going forward I will do so outside the political arena.”
Ivanka Trump has still made a few appearances on official business, testifying in Donald Trump’s civil fraud trial and attending the final night of the Republican National Convention.
However, the eldest Trump daughter has largely returned to her previous life as a socialite, attending star-studded celebrity weddings, walking red carpets at restaurant and hotel openings, and trading in her business attire for more daring looks.
