“Denial is a River” Debuts at No. 1
In its latest frame, “Denial is a River” arrives on a pair of tallies in the U.K., and it doesn’t just sneak in. The track opens at No. 1 on both the Official Physical Singles and Official Vinyl Singles charts. That double win gives Doechii her first leaders on the two lists. It also happens to mark her debut appearance on the tallies.
Doechii is Rising on the Charts
As it launches at the top on two purchase-only tallies, “Denial is a River” is also enjoying general growth across several other U.K.-based rankings. The tune climbs from No. 9 to No. 7 on the Official Hip-Hop and R&B Singles chart. At the same time, on the country’s most competitive list – the Official Singles chart — the track moves north as well, rising from No. 94 to No. 86.
“Denial is a River” also reappears on the Official Singles Sales chart, where it hits a new peak of No. 25.

A must-see live performance at the Grammy Awards a few weeks back only added fuel to the fire.
“Anxiety” Continues to Soar
While “Denial is a River” may be a brand new No. 1 on a pair of charts, it’s not Doechii’s only major win in the U.K. at the moment. A track titled “Anxiety,” which was originally released more than five years back, has suddenly turned into one of the rapper’s biggest hits after she shared it to streaming sites and download platforms only a short time ago.
“Anxiety” is still living inside the top 10 on both streaming and sales tallies in the U.K. On the Official Singles chart, it slips just one spot this week, from its all-time high of No. 3 to No. 4. British listeners are still just discovering the track, and in many cases, Doechii herself.
