John Krasinski has been named the latest People’s Sexiest Man Alive.
People doesn’t always impress readers with its selections, and this year is no different. Krasinski, 45, has been a somewhat polarizing choice online.
There are a few parameters for who gets chosen. First, the person has to accept, which not everyone does. That’s reportedly why the honor has never been bestowed on Ryan Gosling. Secondly, the person usually has a project that they’re promoting.
Krasinski, an actor and successful director, has had a busy year. He directed the film “IF,” which made $190 million worldwide; the third “Quiet Place” film was released (he didn’t direct this one, but it is based on his IP) and made $261 million; and it was recently announced that he’d be returning to the role of Jack Ryan in a film for Amazon.
And that’s nothing to say of his relationship with Emily Blunt, which is beloved by fans.
