The worst performers of the session were NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ:), which fell 1.94% or 2.63 points to trade at 133.28 at the close. Walmart Inc (NYSE:) declined 1.58% or 1.47 points to end at 91.53 and International Business Machines (NYSE:) was down 1.07% or 2.35 points to 217.40.
The top performers on the S&P 500 were The Mosaic Company (NYSE:) which rose 8.01% to 26.82, Revvity Inc (NYSE:) which was up 7.74% to settle at 122.70 and CF Industries Holdings Inc (NYSE:) which gained 7.59% to close at 95.50.
The worst performers were Moderna Inc (NASDAQ:) which was down 16.80% to 35.15 in late trade, Edison International (NYSE:) which lost 11.89% to settle at 57.27 and Constellation Energy Corp (NASDAQ:) which was down 8.50% to 279.24 at the close.
The top performers on the NASDAQ Composite were Phio Pharmaceuticals Corp (NASDAQ:) which rose 290.53% to 6.60, Salarius Pharmaceuticals Inc (NASDAQ:) which was up 135.26% to settle at 3.67 and VerifyMe Inc (NASDAQ:) which gained 61.96% to close at 4.13.
The worst performers were Eshallgo Inc (NASDAQ:) which was down 61.77% to 1.25 in late trade, Comtech Telecommunications Corp (NASDAQ:) which lost 43.34% to settle at 2.34 and SRIVARU Holding Ltd (NASDAQ:) which was down 43.20% to 0.04 at the close.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the New York Stock Exchange by 1546 to 1255 and 73 ended unchanged; on the Nasdaq Stock Exchange, 1867 fell and 1442 advanced, while 111 ended unchanged.

Shares in VerifyMe Inc (NASDAQ:) rose to 3-years highs; up 61.96% or 1.58 to 4.13.

EUR/USD was unchanged 0.16% to 1.02, while USD/JPY fell 0.11% to 157.59.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.17% at 109.67.
