The top performers on the S&P 500 were United Airlines Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:) which rose 17.45% to 48.74, American Airlines Group (NASDAQ:) which was up 6.60% to settle at 13.89 and Globe Life Inc (NYSE:) which gained 5.39% to close at 63.20.
The worst performers were JB Hunt Transport Services Inc (NASDAQ:) which was down 8.12% to 168.13 in late trade, The Travelers Companies Inc (NYSE:) which lost 7.37% to settle at 206.67 and Prologis Inc (NYSE:) which was down 7.18% to 106.50 at the close.
The top performers on the NASDAQ Composite were INVO Bioscience Inc (NASDAQ:) which rose 133.33% to 1.82, SINTX Technologies Inc (NASDAQ:) which was up 63.60% to settle at 0.04 and WiSA Technologies Inc (NASDAQ:) which gained 51.64% to close at 9.25.
The worst performers were Iczoom Group Inc (NASDAQ:) which was down 88.26% to 5.99 in late trade, Sunshine Biopharma Inc (NASDAQ:) which lost 44.12% to settle at 3.80 and Dare Bioscience Inc (NASDAQ:) which was down 41.70% to 0.28 at the close.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the New York Stock Exchange by 1509 to 1307 and 88 ended unchanged; on the Nasdaq Stock Exchange, 2129 fell and 1210 advanced, while 143 ended unchanged.
