Last week, Beyoncé dominated the Billboard charts with her new album Cowboy Carter. In its second frame on the weekly rankings, the set is still performing incredibly well, though it has ceded the No. 1 spot on at least one tally–though even the band that replaces her can’t topple the superstar on every roster.

On this week’s Top Album Sales chart, Tomorrow X Together replace Beyoncé at No. 1. The South Korean boy band debuts their new project Minisode 3: Tomorrow atop Billboard’s ranking of the top-selling titles in the country, pushing the Queen off the throne

Minisode 3: Tomorrow starts at No. 1 on the Top Album Sales chart thanks to 103,500 purchases. That’s one of the largest starting sums of the year, and it makes Tomorrow X Together’s latest one of the bestselling titles of 2024, when looking at actual sales.

Last week, Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter launched at No. 1 on the Top Album Sales chart with 168,000 pure purchases. This frame, it fails to hold onto the highest rung on this ranking, but the title is still ruling on another, more important tally.

Cowboy Carter earns a second week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 this week. In its second frame on the tally, the country set moved another 125,500 equivalent units, between sales and streaming activity. It faced tough competition from two new releases, and while they both came close to reaching the summit, they couldn’t quite unseat Beyoncé.

As Cowboy Carter rules the Billboard 200 again, J. Cole debuts his latest project in the runner-up rung. The rapper’s Might Delete Later starts at No. 2 with 115,000 equivalent units. Tomorrow X Together’s new effort comes in third, with 107,500 equivalent units moved.

Minisode 3: Tomorrow marks Tomorrow X Together’s sixth career No. 1 on the Top Album Sales chart. It’s also their seventh top 10, as they’ve only missed the penthouse once. On the Billboard 200, the K-pop group has now snagged five top 10 winners, including a single champion.
