Tomorrow X Together is back on the Billboard charts this week with their latest project, Minisode 3: Tomorrow. The EP blasts onto a number of rankings, and as it arrives, the South Korean boy band manages several impressive feats, including breaking a tie with another one of the most successful groups to come out of that country.

Minisode 3: Tomorrow launches at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 this week. The EP gives Tomorrow X Together its fifth appearance inside the top 10 on the ranking of the most-consumed albums and short projects in the U.S.

With a fifth top 10 to their credit, Tomorrow X Together ties for the second-most appearances inside the highest tier on the Billboard 200 among South Korean musical acts. They’re now on the same level as Twice, who have also snagged as many placements between Nos. 1 and 10.

Both Tomorrow X Together and Twice sit two top 10 wins behind BTS. That boy band has pushed seven titles into the highest tier on the Billboard 200. They haven’t scored a new one in well over a year, as the group has been on hiatus as the seven members pursue solo careers and fulfill their military enlistment in their home country.

Last week, before Minisode 3: Tomorrow debuted on the Billboard 200, Tomorrow X Together was tied with three other powerful names from the K-pop world. Ateez, Seventeen, and Stray Kids have all collected four top 10 albums in the U.S. on that chart. Now, Tomorrow X Together has passed them all, though those bands regularly release new music, so it may only be a matter of time before they catch up and this ranking changes again.

In its first full tracking frame, Minisode 3: Tomorrow moved 107,500 equivalent units in the U.S. That sum would normally give the group a real edge at owning the Billboard 200, but this frame proved to be too busy with exciting projects from superstars for them to really consider returning to the No. 1 spot for the second time.

Beyoncé controls the Billboard 200 for the second week in a row, as her Cowboy Carter holds on. That country collection moved another 128,000 equivalent units, which is down significantly from its debut figure of more than 400,000. J. Cole debuts his latest project Might Delete Later in the runner-up space. That mixtape shifted 115,000 equivalent units.
