The German industrial holding company Mutares (€4 billion in turnover in 2022, 14,000 employees) announced that it had finalized the acquisition of Laval-based Walor International, whose head office is located in Laval (Mayenne). The Mayenne-based company employs more than 1,200 people on 11 production sites, with an annual turnover of 211 million euros in 2022. It is expected to reach 240 million euros in 2023. Walor International produces metal parts for leading automotive OEMs and suppliers. The Mutares group forecasts a consolidated turnover between 4.8 billion and 5.4 billion euros for 2023. It plans to reach around 7 billion euros in 2025 and 10 billion euros in 2028.
