Publisher of software for professionals in law, real estate, hospitality, HR and figures, the Montpellier group Septeo (2,800 employees, 2022 turnover: €310 million) is creating a new lab dedicated to intelligence artificial (AI), and located in its premises at La Défense in Paris. With 25 employees, this R&D center, responsible for developing applications around AI for all of the group’s businesses, is mobilizing an investment of 20 million euros. The approach is part of a strategic plan which will see Septeo launch a multi-use generative AI: it will be able to improve the operational performance of the group’s development teams, simplify the use of tools within business units, improve customer relations, etc. From January 2024, this AI platform will be made available to all of Septeo’s divisions (six markets), i.e. 60 companies, managing 155,000 customers and 30 million users of its solutions.
