The Bordeaux company Ouidrop, which developed a robotic click and collect solution called “Dropper” and raised 2 million euros this summer, has just expanded its assembly plant to reach 750 m2. It aims to produce four Droppers per month in 2024 and 10 in 2025. Ouidrop hopes to recruit five people to strengthen production and the commercial center by the end of the year and around twenty by 2025. “Ouidrop can now connect with all the parcel players (logistics, e-retailers and retailers) and pool flows by offering a single system for all carriers, whether for parcels or food drives” specifies a press release. “We can predict the number of deliveries, offer a complete local service and reduce the carbon impact with a single truck that drops off all the packages in the same place,” adds Thibault Soulier, its founder. To deploy its solution nationally, it is targeting major retail brands and plans to equip around twenty points by 2024.
