The Angevin public transport network Irigo (€64.3 million in 2022 turnover) has considered recycling end-of-life work clothing provided to its employees, which was previously thrown away. On the occasion of an event organized by the Young Economic Chamber of Angers and its region on the theme of ecology and textiles, Irigo contacted local creators to suggest that they study upcycling solutions . The Angevin collective Tissons à neuf proposed different avenues of transformation. Different objects were born from this collaboration, laptop covers, fanny packs, lunch bags. They will be offered to Irigo employees during awareness-raising events on sustainable development, during waste reduction week which will be held from November 18 to 26.
