The young company Baltee Mobility, based in Chantepie, is seeking to raise 1 million euros by the end of 2023 to develop safe cycling. After 21 months of R&D, Armand Fourtané, its creator, managed to design a first connected product made in France, presented as “a guardian angel” for cyclists. The connected box is installed on the handlebars of a bicycle and has four functions: alarm, fall detector, buzzer and emergency button. Supported by numerous partners (Emergys Bretagne, Bpifrance, etc.), Armand Fourtané joined the Le Poool incubation course, operator of the French Tech label in Ille-et-Vilaine.
