Market Research Future estimated that the global fried-chicken takeout market could reach more than $8.25 billion by 2025 — with the US being responsible for almost a third of the market share — and more than $10.52 billion by 2032.
For Yelp’s list, which it released in August, it rounded up the best spots to get fried chicken by identifying businesses in its “chicken shop” category and ranking them based on ratings and the number of five-star reviews. All the restaurants on this list had a passing health score and were marked open as of June 25.
