The Beatles broke up (for the most part) more than half a century ago, but that doesn’t mean the band is remaining silent. The past few months have been especially busy for the group, and they’re not slowing down.

On Saturday (April 20), The Beatles will release four of their most beloved singles on a special format. The effort is part of Record Store Day 2024, an industry-wide event that aims to support independent record stores around the world that involves musicians producing collectible items and never-before-released projects that are only available in brick-and-mortar locations.

The Beatles have four of their earliest tracks coming to record stores tomorrow, all on three-inch vinyl. That’s a format that has largely disappeared, even in today’s vinyl resurgence—and that fact makes these tunes even more special.

This year, the Fab Four will release “Til There Was You,” “She Loves You,” “I Want to Hold Your Hand,” and “I Saw Her Standing There” for Record Store Day. All four hits will be sold on small vinyl albums, but fans should rush to pick up a copy, as they won’t last long.

Most titles that are released on Record Store Day are only made in limited quantities. That gives fans of specific artists—or maybe just certain formats—more motivation to get up and go out to an actual store on the holiday.

Each of The Beatles’ four songs that are being issued for the event this year are limited to 1,500 copies. Those vinyl singles will be spread around various locations, and they may be difficult to find, even for those who are willing to travel long distances to get one.

The Beatles are also looking to help out those who don’t have a record player for those three-inch vinyl singles. The group is set to sell their own mini turntable. That item comes with all four songs on the format, which will make them highly desired. That offering is limited to 2,300 copies.

All four songs being released tomorrow hold a special place in the history of The Beatles. The band performed them on The Ed Sullivan Show, which is remembered as the moment they became superstars in America.
