• Bryan Johnson shared his facial transformation pictures online — sparking a strong reaction.
  • Most of those reacting on X said Johnson looked his best before he began his antiaging regimen.
  • Since 2021, Johnson has been trying to reverse his biological age.

Antiaging advocate Bryan Johnson might see himself as the picture of youth, but the internet is unconvinced.

Johnson, the multimillionaire founder of payments company Braintree, posted pictures on X showing his facial transformation over the years with the caption, “Even my Face ID is confused. I’m transitioning….” X users reacted quickly with their thoughts — which weren’t exactly supportive.

One X user wrote, “tries to stop aging…. Proceeds to age quicker.” Others were a bit more encouraging. “You look good in all these photos. The thing is that in 2018 you looked more natural,” another user wrote.

Since 2021, Johnson, who is 46, has been on a rigorous campaign to reverse his biological age. His routine includes taking dozens of supplements daily, three high-intensity weekly exercises, and monthly colonoscopies and MRIs. Johnson’s doctors claim that his work has helped him achieve the heart of a 37-year-old, the skin of a 28-year-old, and the lung capacity of an 18-year-old.

Johnson acknowledged that his appearance had changed from the first picture — dated 2018, which is before he started his regimen — to the latest picture from 2024. And he poked fun at his dramatic evolution by commenting that his pronouns were now “it/it.” He then asked X users to vote on when he “peaked.”

He told Business Insider by email: “It’s time to get out the vote.”

Close to 39,000 people have so far voted in the poll. The majority, 51.3%, said Johnson “peaked” in 2018, 9.4% voted for 2023, while 39.2% said Johnson is looking his best in 2024.
