Webedia strengthens its commitment to mental health
On the occasion of information weeks on mental health, the media-tech group Webedia is strengthening its commitment through its initiatives “ Webedia for good », which result in the sharing of several articles and content around this cause until October 15.
While mental health is increasingly at the heart of priorities, particularly since the consecutive confinements which have particularly impacted the younger generation, the group has mobilized all of its sites since October 9, until October 15, with content identified “ Mental Health Week ” And ” Webedia for good “.
The media Dr. Good! And I hope you’re well are offering a special week of content dedicated to this theme and have notably launched a new podcast “I hope you are well”. The site AlloCiné deals with the series which have taken up this theme and which have made it possible to lift the taboo on several subjects. The site JV, dedicated to video game news, looks at game therapy to try to feel better. And finally, the site 750g discusses the benefits of cooking on your mind.
In addition, many other articles dedicated to this theme are offered on the group’s media such as: easyvoyage, PurePeople, Terrafemina, MGG, Le 10 Sport, PureMedias, PureBreak, Parent Exhausted or PureCharts. The social networks of these different media brands also offer videos, interviews and carousels on this theme, accompanied by the hashtag #MentalHealthWeek.
The Webedia group’s commitment is also made internally since it raises awareness among its employees by informing them every day through a newsletter on different subjects on mental health: addiction to social networks, eating disorders, invisible disabilities or even the management of emotions. A masterclass is also organized within the company for content creators to raise awareness about their own mental health and that of their community.
“ The issue of mental health concerns us in particular because it is becoming more and more important among younger generations. It is therefore natural for us to mobilize the entire Webedia group: a group which addresses both young generations through its media, its content creators and its social networks, and a group which is itself largely composed of people under 30 », declares Michèle Benzeno, General Director of Webedia.
