Even if you don’t work in IT, you’ve heard of growth hacking. For several years, this notion has indeed interested large groups and the most innovative start-ups. Find out what it can bring to your business! I subscribe
A recent concept
This English term refers to the methods (or “hacks” in English) used to enable a company to grow quickly. The idea even consists of aiming for exponential development while mobilizing as few resources as possible and limiting investments. To evaluate its performance, it will be enough to monitor a few essential indicators such as turnover, market share gained, the evolution of the margin or even the number of new customers.
Are you interested in this new practice and would you like to discover all its secrets? Then, without further delay, follow a training course within the growth hacker school!
How to implement it in practice?
It would be terribly dangerous to consider growth hacking as a ready-made solution. On the contrary, it requires numerous tests before finding the most efficient formula in a well-defined context. To convince yourself, simply look into the past! You will then see that the most famous hacks in history rarely come from a first attempt.
You will also need to adopt a positive approach and demonstrate a real open-mindedness. You will therefore move away from your usual certainties and you will seek above all to experiment. Never view mistakes and failures as waste of time. Rather, prefer to learn from it in order to improve subsequent attempts.
Don’t let yourself be tempted by the desire to reproduce an existing hack either. This easy solution will do you no good. On the contrary, you will have to focus above all on personalization. To find inspiration, start by clearly identifying your target audience and their particularities. The better you know it, the easier it will be to find an interesting hack later.
A miracle solution?
On a theoretical level, growth hacking only seems to have advantages. You probably have several particularly successful use cases in mind. Among the most famous of them, we find in particular the work carried out by Facebook, Airbnb and even Amazon, a few years ago.
However, in practice, successes as blatant as these are much rarer. To hope to stand out from the competition, you will therefore have to look for a new hack, never before imagined by anyone else and which can, potentially, generate a strong societal impact. Once you find this idea, you will obviously do everything you can to protect it. It would be a shame if it fell into the hands of another company before you can reap the full benefits!
