Business Insider is seeking nominations for our ninth annual list of the most innovative CMOs in the world. Submit your nominees via this survey by 5 p.m. ET on April 30.

They don’t have to necessarily hold the CMO title, but should be the senior-most marketing executives at consumer brands and should have been in their roles for at least six months.

The CMO role is in a constant state of evolution. Top marketers are navigating a fragmented media landscape and new technologies like generative AI. They need solid financial acumen in order to drive growth and maintain healthy profit margins. The CMO must be the ultimate operator, expertly communicating across all the functions of the company, while artfully boosting the reputation of their public-facing brand.

Criteria and methodology

The list will consider factors including executives’ influence on their company’s performance, their role and responsibilities, the size of the brand they represent, and their impact on the industry. Entries that are backed by case studies and quantitative data to support an executive’s contribution to their company’s growth have a better chance of standing out.

Business Insider will determine the list based on our reporting and the nominations we receive.

Submit your nominations here by April 30.
