Nicki Minaj’s “FTCU” is bounding up the Billboard charts at the moment. The single benefits from the recent release of a new remix featuring vocals from Travis Scott, Chris Brown, and Sexyy Red. As that track bolts up the rankings thanks to an especially notable sales sum, the album that the original cut is featured on is also improving.

Pink Friday 2 lifts on three Billboard charts this week. The title also performed well enough to return to another list, meaning its rise is noted on at least four tallies this time around.

In the past tracking week, Luminate reports that consumption of Pink Friday 2 grew by just under 40%. The album, which was released in December 2023, moved another 19,278 equivalent units in the past period. Almost all of those come from streaming activity, as the title only sold 1,339 copies.

That nearly 40% uptick in consumption helps Pink Friday 2 bolt up the Billboard 200. The set, which debuted at No. 1 only a few months ago, shoots from No. 76 to No. 38 in its twentieth frame.

Pink Friday 2 is also up on both the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and Top Rap Albums charts. On the former, it improves from No. 30 to No. 13; on the latter, it pushes from No. 22 back into the top 10, landing at No. 10.

Minaj’s most recent full-length is back on the Top Streaming Albums chart as well this week. It once ruled that list of the most-streamed titles in America, and now it reappears at No. 41 after only falling away fairly recently.

“FTCU” is not the only reason why Pink Friday 2 is doing so well, but the incredible surge of sales and streams of that single can be connected to this sudden growth in popularity of the album. The song rises on half a dozen Billboard charts this week. It also returns to just as many tallies at the same time.
