Warning: Spoilers ahead for the season 29 premiere of “The Bachelor.”

Grant Ellis’ season of “The Bachelor” is underway, and one woman has already stood out among the 25 contestants.

Grant, 31, who was first introduced to Bachelor Nation on Jenn Tran’s season of “The Bachelorette,” gets another chance at finding the one as the leading man on season 29 of “The Bachelor.”

During Monday night’s season premiere, Alexe Godin, 27, catches Grant’s attention and earns the coveted first impression rose — and the first one-on-one date.

Alexe is searching for a man who’s “open-minded, hardworking, and an all-around good human,” her ABC bio reads. And it looks like she might have found that in Grant on this season of “The Bachelor.”

Here’s everything to know about Alexe.

Alexe is a pediatric speech therapist from New Brunswick, Canada

In 2022, Alexe graduated from the University of Ottawa with a master’s in speech-language pathology. Her LinkedIn profile says she’s been working as a speech therapy assistant since February 2022.

Alexe grew up on a farm in a small town in Canada and pays homage to her animal-loving side and rural roots by arriving at the Bachelor mansion with a scene-stealing llama named Linda.

As a French Canadian, Alexe tells Grant that it’s important that her significant other is fluent (like her) or at least tries to learn French. In the season premiere, she teaches Grant some French words, and the two share a kiss afterward.

She enjoys traveling

Alexe’s Instagram profile is filled with photos of her visiting destinations like Hawaii, Paris, Spain, Greece, Italy, and Croatia with her friends. Most recently, she went to Tulum, Mexico.

Alexe’s ABC profile says she loves making her friends laugh and “always knows how to get the party started.”

Alexe’s quirkiness and intelligence attract Grant during the season premiere

When Alexe and Grant chat on night one, she says that she needs someone who’s “grounding.” She adds that she likes Grant because he’s “super calming,” while she’s a “ball of energy.”

“I really like Alexe’s vibe,” Grant says. “She’s somebody who I could really get along with, have fun, and really be myself.”

It’s early yet, but Grant, who wants to become a husband and a father, feels that he and Alexe are compatible.

“Alexe showed me the full picture of who she is,” Grant says. “She’s funny, really smart, and she works with kids. Alexe is going to make a great mother, and that’s what I’m excited about — building my own family.”

Given their obvious connection, it’s not fully surprising that Grant gives the first impression to Alexe near the end of the evening.

“She’s so funny, she’s so quirky, she’s so sweet, and she’s smart,” he says. “For just meeting each other, we had the most connection and spark. Everything that she is embodies what I look for in a woman, and I can’t wait to get to know her more.”

In a change-up for “The Bachelor,” the first impression rose recipient will also get to go on the first one-on-one date with Grant during next week’s episode.

“I’m so happy, and it’s very validating that he’s seeing me for who I am and enjoying my little quirks,” Alexe said. “The fact that I get the rose and the one-on-one is so freakin’ special.”
