Dunkin’ may have dropped the word “Donuts” from its brand name in 2019, but the chain still serves up plenty of its signature items at over 13,000 stores worldwide.

Founded in 1950 in Quincy, Massachusetts, and now owned by Inspire Brands — which also owns Arby’s, Sonic, and Baskin-Robbins, among others — Dunkin’ has expanded its menu over the years to add a broad variety of sandwiches, pastries, and snacks.

I’ve had plenty of Dunkin’ doughnuts before, but I typically choose my flavors based on whatever I’m in the mood for when I walk into the shop.

I wanted to find out which Dunkin’ doughnut I liked best of all, so I visited a local shop in Queens and asked for one of every type they had.

I tried 16 different flavors and ranked them from worst to first. Here’s what I thought of the doughnuts I tried.
