A new documentary will feature former President Donald Trump’s election interference case in Georgia, the BBC announced Friday, as a trial has likely been delayed until after the November election amid the defense’s effort to disqualify Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.

The 90-minute film features “unprecedented access to the case,” according to the release.
“State of Georgia v. Donald J. Trump” includes stories about the employee who recorded Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger’s phone call with Trump, who urged Raffensperger to “find” votes to swing the state in his favor in 2020, and the “suburban candle maker” who became the foreperson in the grand jury that indicted Trump, among others.

The BBC commissioned a documentary series about Trump’s presidency, “The Trump Show,” that aired in late 2020. A disqualification hearing for Willis has been scheduled for October, which likely delays Trump’s case until after the Nov. 8 election.
