Jennie, one of the four singers in the K-pop girl group Blackpink, is on an incredible roll when it comes to her solo career. As she gears up to potentially reach the Billboard charts with her latest collaboration, “Slow Motion” with Matt Champion, the biggest hit of her time on her own is still performing incredibly well. This week, that tune brings Jennie to a new career peak on three rankings in the United States.

“One of the Girls” is on the rise on several Billboard charts this week. The tune is fronted by The Weeknd, whose fame surely helped it become a longstanding win. Jennie is credited as a featured act on the track, as is actor Lily Rose Depp.

This week, “One of the Girls” rises highest on the R&B Streaming Songs chart. The catchy cut lifts slightly from No. 6 to a new best showing of No. 5. It’s the first top five for Jennie, and perhaps for any South Korean musician in the history of the ranking.

“One of the Girls” is also now a new top 10 hit on another Billboard chart. Jennie’s smash jumps from No. 11 to No. 9 on the Rhythmic Airplay tally, one of the company’s many radio-focused lists. The track enters the highest tier in its lucky thirteenth week on the roster of the most successful cuts in the “rhythmic” space, which is essentially just hip-hop and R&B music aimed at a more top 40 audience.

Jennie also improves to a new top showing on the Pop Airplay chart. On Billboard’s main pop radio ranking, “One of the Girls” grows to No. 24. That makes it one of the top-performing tracks by a South Korean solo artist in the ranking’s history.

“One of the Girls” has been a slow climber, as it was released back in June 2023. The track wasn’t spun off as a single from an EP of music inspired by The Weeknd’s TV program The Idol until December, but by then, it had already reached a number of Billboard charts. Since then, it’s performed well at radio, and it seems like it will continue to climb in the coming weeks.
