One of the many love triangles on “Love Is Blind: UK” seemingly gets resolved neatly by the time the couples make it out of the pods. But things aren’t always as happy as they appear — at least based on the teaser for the rest of the season.

Demi and Ollie are the last couple we see get engaged this season. Prior to Ollie’s proposal, he’d been torn between Demi and another contestant, Catherine. But Catherine made it easy for him to pursue things with Demi instead when she broke up with Ollie to get engaged to funeral director Freddie.

During their time in the pods, Demi and Ollie form a sweet bond that differs from the more sexual connection Ollie feels he has with Catherine. But Demi expresses to him that she’d been friend-zoned in the past because men see her as “just one of the guys.” Before seeing her in person during the reveal, Ollie worries about that, but he says he’s “blown away” by how attracted to her he is as soon as he sees her.

They’re affectionate and kiss during the getaway, starting off on a good note despite Demi voicing some concerns to the cameras about whether Ollie is physically attracted to her. The next day, Demi says their first night together was “PG, but nice,” and we see them have some sexually tinged banter about pineapple in bed.

However, the preview for the rest of the season teases that there’s trouble ahead for the couple.

In the teaser, we hear Demi say that she really feels like Ollie is the one — immediately before footage is shown of Ollie and Catherine meeting face-to-face for the first time. The two compliment each other’s looks, and Demi says she worries that Cat might be more Ollie’s type.

Then, we see Jasmine, another contestant and friend of Demi’s, confront Ollie over whether he “likes her or not,” urging Ollie to be honest. (It appears Jasmine is talking about Demi, but she doesn’t say Demi’s name.) Ollie won’t answer, only telling an irritated Jasmine that putting more pressure on the situation isn’t helping him.

Things seem to hit a breaking point when the teaser shows Ollie saying he wants to go home and Demi tells him to go.

Interestingly, later in the preview, we see footage of the two saying “I love you” on the beach during the getaway. And then we see a clear shot of Ollie in his suit at the altar, which seems to suggest that Ollie and Demi at least make it all the way to the weddings and the Ollie/Cat scene is just a misdirect (a la Jimmy and Jess meeting in person in “Love Is Blind” season six).

Whether Ollie and Demi actually say “I do” and get married remains to be seen. But here’s what we could glean from perusing their social media.

Did Demi and Ollie get married on ‘Love Is Blind: UK’? They’re still connected but don’t seem friendly

The good news: Demi and Ollie are following each other on Instagram as of this writing.

The bad (or at least inconclusive) news: They haven’t interacted with each other there at all. That includes not liking or commenting on one another’s posts about appearing on this season of “Love Is Blind: UK.”

Demi also has a TikTok, but it’s not clear whether Ollie has one himself and whether they’re following each other there.

Ollie wasn’t immediately visible in Demi’s April birthday or 2023 recap posts on Instagram or TikTok, so it seems like he either wasn’t present or she did a really good job at keeping him out of view (as she’d be expected to do to keep the show’s conclusion a secret, to be fair). She also has a solo shot of herself at a spa for this past Valentine’s Day alongside a contemplative caption, which again seems like Ollie wasn’t part of her holiday.

Based on the glimpse of Ollie in a suit in the preview, it seems likely that they made it to the wedding despite bumps in the road, but it’s unclear if they say “I do.”

The next batch of “Love Is Blind: UK” episodes hits Netflix on August 14.
