AC/DC regularly rises and falls on the Billboard charts. Depending on how they’ve performed recently and what competition they face, the Australian rockers may decline slightly, or, as is the case this time around, jump back up several rankings at the same time.

The group’s Back In Black album is climbing the weekly rankings in the U.S., as interest in the title is trending upward. The set moved another 8,720 equivalent units in the past tracking week, according to Luminate.

Consumption of Back In Black was up 4% when compared to the week before. The title sold 1,465 copies, which is a very healthy sum for a project that’s been out in the world and selling well for decades.

All those streams and sales help Back In Black jump 10 spaces on the Billboard 200. On that all-encompassing ranking of the most-consumed albums in the U.S., AC/DC’s blockbuster lifts from No. 176 to No. 166. It has previously appeared as high as No. 4.

Back In Black returns to the top 40 on another ranking this week. The title improves three spaces to No. 40 on the Top Rock & Alternative Albums chart.

Over on the Top Rock Albums chart, AC/DC’s growth is not nearly as impressive…though the full-length is still pushing forward. On that tally, it sits at No. 9 after settling at No. 10 last time around.

As Back In Black gains ground, several of AC/DC’s most beloved singles are also improving. Two of the band’s hits step up on the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart, while another holds steady. Just one cut falls from where it sat last frame, and it only slides back a few rungs.
