2 Chainz is set to showcase his love for Grand Margaritas in the inaugural episode of a new digital series.

Grand Marnier, the premium liquor label, has teamed up with the Grammy-winning rapper and entrepreneur to introduce their new digital content series, The Rouge Room. The series represents the brand’s singular way of storytelling and promotes surprising partnerships they deem as “Grand Encounters.”

Last week (April 29), The Rouge Room made its debut across various digital and social platforms, notably Instagram, strategically timed before Cinco de Mayo. The signature cognac and orange blend takes center stage, particularly as a prominent ingredient in the margarita, a classic beverage associated with the holiday. 2 Chainz is the series’ inaugural guest, where he demonstrates to onlookers how to make a Grand Margarita, a cocktail that the “Presha” rapper considers his favorite.

In a recent announcement about the series, 2 Chainz recalled, “I’ve always been a margarita fan, but I found the secret ingredient that makes the classic even better: Grand Marnier,” he said. “I tried a Grand Marnier Quintessence margarita a few years back on my show ‘Most Expensivest’ and let me tell you that blend of cognac and orange is pure magic. It’s a whole vibe upgrade for your margarita and drink style.”

Andrea Sengara, Vice President of Marketing for Campari America, expressed enthusiasm about their new collaboration, viewing it as a way to showcase the versatility of Grand Marnier and build genuine relationships with consumers. “Teaming up with 2 Chainz for the launch of The Rouge Room content series allows us to forge deeper connections with consumers seeking new ways to savor and sip Grand Marnier,” said Sengara. “This series not only highlights the blend of fine cognac and orange liqueur, but also invites consumers to reimagine their cocktail experience, from elevating the classic margarita to sparking inspiration and discovering their own unique ways of enjoying Grand Marnier.”

2 Chainz is well-acquainted with the cocktail scene as the co-owner of Escobar Restaurant & Tapas, a restaurant chain he operates with Mychel “Snoop” Dillard. They opened their first location in Atlanta in 2016 and now manage six locations across Georgia, Tennessee, Ohio, and Texas.

Last fall, the chain embarked on a culinary residency with Pepsi Dig as part of the Restaurant Royalty Residency program, an initiative aimed at showcasing Black-owned restaurants.

The Rouge Room series is part of Grand Marnier’s “Encounters on the Road” event series, which is scheduled to run through September including a “Grand Encounter” at the Roots Picnic next month.
